Paintchips on WRX
#1
My work colleage owns a mica red uk WRX wagon, X reg. He is finding that the paint chips really easily. He has ordered some touchup paint from the dealership but it is a darker colour. Even though he provided them with the code for the colour. Has anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks in Advance,

1) It has to be shaken to mix VERY thoroughly.
2) It is better thinned, (use cellulose thinners) and it is then not so dark either.
Apply sparingly.....

And don't use the brush in the pot supplied by the dealer. Go to an art shop and buy the thinnest brush they have and apply in VERY small amounts until the chip is filled. The wait for it to dry and polish any excess off with a good quality polish and a clean cloth.
The longer you take the better the finish will be

Have to agree with yex, time spent with a good small paintbrush is worthwhile. I have also used a small blob of paint on the end of a toothpick. This works too, just dab over the pock mark
