Default Winter weather considerations.

Right a couple of questions:

1) with winter setting in now are you guys driving your cars less than usual?

2) have you changed tyres for the frosty/icy roads and if so what would you recomend, im currently driving on 17ich potenza's.

3) what is the best tyre preassure settngs for the potenza's, is it 32f 30r?

3) i own a 05 sti dccd, is there an optimum dccd setting for such weather or is the auto setting the best bet.

thanks all

Buy yourself a set of steel wheels or cheep alloys, get yourself a set of Nokian WR winter tyres and enjoy your car.

Its almost more fun for me when the roads are like this. When the engine is warm and the air outside is cold I love driving.

I agree with the cheap winter wheels comment, but I have never been one to own a car to keep in a garage. I own good cars so I can drive good cars.

Its your chance to see how well scoobs cope with winter roads!!!!

Hi Morph, I'm running RE-070's not ideal, but o.k. for the run to work, last Xmas I was running R888's and they were awful in standing water, as they are a road legal slick.... If it is snowy a few psi lower all round will help, but we don't see much round here really. My OZ's are tucked away for the winter, but still need new centre caps as they are cr*p really.

Sorry no DCCD so can't comment.
