Default p1's

Why is it that P1's don't get much coverage on here???

Theres plenty of talk of 22b's, type r and type ra's and other special editions but rarely P1's.

I had always thought that they were one of the most coveted classics!!!

Im seriously considering one now rather then a newage which i have had my eyes on for a while. Is there something wrong with p1's - bad handling, power, problems etc. the lack of talk / discussions on here about them makes me wonder if there is something up with them!?!?

Cheers.

If you can still find the threads, search back to 1999/2000/2001 and see what discussions took place.

I'll start you off with "£32K! For an Impreza! And it hasn't got proper toys and air-con".

how do you go about getting it checked ut by a specialist before you buy? realistically it must be quicte difficult???

been after a newage for about a year now, and really just been taken by P1's recently - i reckon im gonna go for one rather than a blobeye sti ppp now.

think i'll be pleasantly surprised?

And that's when there were still 1000 of them on the road!

Strange to think the new STI is £££ cheaper than the standard 215bhp Uk impreza in 1999.

just book a independant SUBARU SPECIALIST that is near the car you want to buy , have them check it out (at yr expence )....get a written report , if all is fine .....hand over cash and drive the P1 away

I usually change car once a year, but since I had the P1 its been 6 year now without car change .....so you could say that i like the car
mind you with all the mods that I've done on it , changing car every year would of been cheaper !!!!

Sorry, I omitted the word "proper". As in, "it hasn't got proper aircon" - merely a freezer.
