Is it worth travelling
I am picking up a front and rear bumper from Oxford over the next couple of days driving from Stockport in a diesel.
I have also won some springs off Fleabay which are in Bristol and these need couriering or picking up.
Would it be worth driving the extra from Oxford to Bristol to collect the springs or just get them couriered to my house.
Also what is the best time for travelling through the week[M40 and M5/M6]

I live in oxford, Bristol is not a bad trek from here, but i am not sure if with the round trip from stockport it would be financially viable?, how far is oxford from stockport, and how far is bristol from stockport?

Bob, leave about 10am, you will miss the rush hour though birmingham and anywhere on the M6/42/40 plus there are roadworks on the M6/M40 with 50mph limits.
A round trip should take you about 6 hours so hopefully you will miss the rush hour on the way back also
I would have picked them up for you but my car is a little full at the moment with junk (though you wouldnt have got them until next monday sometime )

Stockport to Oxford is 160 miles, oxford to Bristol is 70 miles and Bristol to Stockport is 170 miles. Kinel thats some mileage but I suppose the extra 70 miles and 1.5 hrs may be worth it safe in the knowledge I can pick up the springs in person.
