Unhappy I don't trust my car any more

Since getting it back with a big bill for cylinder head repair and gasket renewal, I just don't feel I can trust it any more.

I used to think of it as ultra reliable, but now think of it as having an unreliable engine. I even took the diesel cronk out to Wath last night instead of the scoob.

Should I sell and cut my losses? Or just SORN the stupid thing until the market improves and it can sell? Or trade it against another diesel?

This is what i did when i got mine rebuilt, ive given it stick cause its faster (extra mods) and to see if the work was done right which it was. If it fails then its failed during the warrenty period

How much would you sell for if you did sell it?

you cant really disguard it just because the headgaskets went

ive done gaskets, engines , gearboxes on hundreds of cars and they are still goin strong

i have done many headgaskets on cars with low milage 5-10k etc and they have been fine , its only a repair and wont make any difference to the reliability of the car
