WTF is stage one two three etc etc
I see it occasionally with people saying they're running stage 2 mods etc but it's said all the time on the american tuning sites as though everyone automatically knows what a stage 2 tune is ....
soooo
WTF is a stage 2 (and 3 and 4) tune and surely there are different levels of stage 2/3/4 etc etc to make it a completely incomparable statement ?
Is a stage 1 air filter / exhaust, stage 2 headers remap ? and what if you have a turbo upgrade but no exhaust or filter does it become a stage 1.5 ?
Or have I had too much vodka and need a kip bad?
soooo

i think a lot of companys have there own versions of what stage1,2,3 is so if you ask one company for stage 2 you might not get the same as another companys stage 2.so basically its a load of bollocks i thinks.

i'd say stage one was induction kit and exhaust, but its like a vicious circle because when you do those mods, go in some one else's car yours feels slow so you do one more and one more etc
