HELP with tyre size
im puttin some 17's on my classic very soon and was wondering what tyre size to go for as the wheels im thinkin of gettin will come with 215/40 17

That size is near perfect or if you want an even better (perfect) size then 205/45/17 but there is less of a choice of tyres in that size.
Just dont go 215/45/17 as they are totally incorrect!

I ran Toyo 215/40/17 on my old Scoob. The 215/45/17 fill out the arches a little more, but are technically not the correct size - may put the speedo out a little. But they're not blow up, cause an accidnet or murder your dog totally incorrect, so go for either size IMHO
