hi wiv money getting tight and the wife losing her job the old impreza has to go to make way for somthing cheaper to run
tried ebay and that was a waste of time wiv loadsof silly offers

Hate to say it, but you're going to struggle.
Lots of Impreza's up for sale, low MPG, Credit crunch etc.
Silly offer's may be all you get. Try part-ex'ing. Though a dealer may well offer you even less.

Everyone is really struggling to sell cars at the moment and even more so performance cars. With xmas just around the corner and the credit crunch, not to mention fuel price uncertainty and high road tax price, you will not get anything like you could have done a few months ago.
In April this year I got almost £12k for a MY03 STI, when today the same car would fetch around £9-10k tops perhaps less.
If you really have to sell it try Pistonheads and Autotrader but expect the stupid offers.
