Question

Went for a test drive in the UK STI last Saturday and thought it was as good as everyone says. Only problem is, I still can't bring myself to like the look of it, and if I'm paying £25k+ I want to be 100% sure. As a result I've decided to hang on to my MY99 with 50k miles. Now, the warranty runs out in November and I want some extra performance. Dealers are still quoting £2k for the PPP so do I go for this and keep the warranty intact, bearing in mind I'll probably extend the warranty, or do I go for something cheaper?

Views appreciated, especially from anyone who's modded a car with 50k miles.

Cheers
Neil

Go for the STi mate, you'll get used to the looks. At the end of the day, you'll be sitting INSIDE it and looking at all the people you are overtaking in it.

Or buy a Caterham...

Shameless plug , but have a look in the for sale section at Scott's immaculate STi 5. (Probably the best STi....)That makes almost anything look ordinary.
