I am trying to locate the Removable roll cage someone posted up a while ago. I would have done a search, but it is offline.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

If you're after buying one, I believe Mellow Yellow has one for sale.

Cool

I think that was "Mole"'s car. A removable roll cage and a wicked looking FMIC

Mole, if required to would the straps on the harnesses be long enough to reach between the rear seats so as to enable me to fasten them to the lower rear seat belt fixings?

Rich.

Red face

RichiW, be very careful when installing harness.

When we were researching the roll cage thing we found that if you dont fit the straps at the correct angle they will crush you with something like 3tons of force in the event of an accident.

The gent who advised us is in the business of investigating RTA so I think he is more than qualified...nuff said!!!

The RTRS which PD sell have been tested and endorsed as they have all the correct angles required to fit harnesses so that they work correctly.

PLEASE do not fit harnesses to the o/e Subaru seats.

Good luck, Mole and his Dad.

Thats exactly what I was looking for! Thanks a lot Mole. That damn thing is going to be really expensive to ship though

No worries about the OEM seats, as I have fitted Sparco Torino's. You don't even want to see what we get from the factory

I'm sure I have read a thread recently that stated that the above pictured trackday removable cage doesn't fit a pre-01 5-door wagon. Does anyone know what cage options us wagon owners have?

cheers,
Dela

Unhappy

As far as I know the RTRS DOES NOT FIT das vagen!

Yes the Safety Devices (developed by PD) cage is the one we have.

Try Mr.Tuckwood and see how you get on.

If any of you das vagen owners REALLY want a cage why dont you get a load of orders together and approach Safety Devices or some other equally competent company (?)

I bet their would be a good few genuine (along with a few not so), takers.

Anyway, regards to our USA cousins, and good luck with your quest for cages the rest of ya!!

Cheers, Moles Dad.
