Subaru Car Covers - for outside ADVICE.
Hi, all
I am looking at getting a car cover for my subaru wrx ra 1999 classic - while it is outside and not being used at the moment - and also for weather protection for thoughout the year all year round / all weather types and keeping dust of etc.
Was wondering if any body has bought a car cover for there subaru and if so, what make do you recommend, where would you buy one from etc.
I dont want any cheap covers - willing to pay extra for top quality. Ideally one that fits around the high spoiler, wing mirrors and ties underneather etc.
Have been looking at Cover-Zone.com but wondering what else is there out there / what would you recommend / tried and tested?
Any advice i would really appreciate / also sites / links to covers - whether on websites / ebay etc.
Thanks

I had a cover on my last car for about 6 months and to took most of the shine out of the paint due to the cover rubbing against the paint
I would get a good wax and leave the cover off.
Here is a thread from Car Care section

I've used a cover for a while now with no adverse effects, although I'm not really that bothered about shine etc. I have had to strengthen the areas where the buckles attach as they ripped when it was windy.
Depending on where your car is to be stored there are inflatable garages with circulating air through them that don't cost much more than a top notch car cover, and if you're bothered about the paintwork these don't touch the car surface.

Bought a cheap one from halfords a couple of yr ago an to be fair for 40quid were worth it-at first did notice it marking the front part of the front wing, edge of spoiler and rear quarter edges when moving in the wind where it pulled tight on the car-the covers only tyvek and isnt lined so from then on just dropped an old sheet over the rear and front first before the cover.
