Be careful. If a cover moves at all on top of less than 100% clean paint it will cause marring or worse. We have seen some terrible damage done by covers designed for outside use. If a car has to sit out, why not just wash it and wax it regularly, and rely on the wax for protection?

couldn't agree with you more Rich. They're evil things. only ones that i'd consider to recommend are the carcoon ones that sit your car in a climate controlled bubble. even then they're not great imo.

Cheers for the info gents. Thats not really something i had thought of about the cover causing damage.

I think i will save myself a few bob and get the buckets and wax out more often.

Thanks once again
