Sods Law when u decide to sell up
Just Gr8 coming bak from Donny wiv a m8 and was involved in a accident.
Wat happened was going through a small village I slowed down, as on the other side of the road was a parked van. Two cars had already committed themselves so slowed down to let them go. It was clear and i noticed another car behind parked van. So I carried on. She pulled out and I slowed to nearly a halt but by this time i was parralel wiv the van and her. I stopped and she scraped all down my side she was still moving.
We both got out and said to her why she pulled out when i had right of way. She just said That I slowed down and then carried on going. So we exchanged details but both said not to go through insurance. This was my mistake as Had a evaluation and its going to cost 700 quid.
So I'm thinking of calling insurance now but not sure where i stand.

Sorry to hear that.
You should contact your insurance after any accident - check your policy, even if you agreed with her not to. But, think about your excess and the loss of no claims, as it will probably be settled knock for knock, i.e 50/50. Sometime it's better just to pay for it yourself.

Obstruction was on her side. If she couldn't stop she was going too fast. If she didn't see you its driving without due care and attention. Job done unless you are not telling us something.

insurance, insurance, insurance - Especially if it wasnt your fault.
had somebody reverse into me earlier this year, I was in a mad rush so took pictures exchanged details and said i'd phone tommorow, he admited it was his fault and said he'd pay for the damage. which was a dented bumper and paintwork damage to the wing.
Phoned my insurance to report it anyway. Glad I did cos when I phoned to talk to him he said it wasnt his fault and felt under duress to admit fault cos I was bigger than him.
Insurance took the claim on, legal cover sorted everything out. He eventually admitted fault, i kept my no claims and my car was sorted 10 days after the accident.
