Default New ignition Key for Classic?

Hi,

I recently bought a Classic 99T, The car has come with 2 subaru alarm fobs but only one key, i went for a new key cut and was told it was an encrypted key and i would probably have to go to a dealer, i rang a dealer and they said £75 quid for the key and £35 quid for them to programme it, is that about right or does anybody know if i can get it done cheaper anywhere?, im prepared to pay the £110 quid to get a new one as the key ive got is bent and will cost 5 times that to repair if it snaps in the ignition in the future, but it just seems a bit steep.

Cheers

Paul

Buy one of these, SUBARU IMPREZA ORIGINAL CAR KEY BRAND NEW 1996-2000 on eBay, also Car Alarms Immobilisers, Security Electrical, Car Accessories, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 19-Nov-08 10:53:27 GMT)

Get it cut for a few quid, then have subaru program it.
