2006 2.5 WRX Up-Pipe
Hi. Does the 2006 2.5 WRX have a cat in the up pipe or not ??

im 99.99% certain that the up-pipe dosnt have a cat on it, but i replaced mine with a H&S one anway
as far as im aware, there should be 3 cats, (i) center pipe, (ii)downpipe (iii) main cat

100 % no ! had my hawkeye exhaust done at zen along with other things ( see my scooby ) and defo no cat !

im sure my 2006 wrx has one, on the up pipe,
ive replaced my exhaust from the turbo back and there was 2, one in the down pipe and the main cat before thr centre pipe.
i was told they did have one in the up pipe.

The up pipe has no cat but it is baffled.

If it is baffled is it restictive to the flow as a cat would be ??

Not to restrictive because it is a straight through, but the flow is smoother and slightly louder with an after market item, i went for a magnex from revolution.
