planning on making a short visit to china for business but while im there i was thinking of getting something for the car like a boost controller what do you guys think ?

also feel free to post what you'd think would be a good mod to get from china... something small and can fit in a suitcase

Where in China are you going mate. I spent 6 months over there and i only spotted 1 wrx.
If you do manage to find anywhere that sells tuning goodies i dont think they will work out much cheaper than buying them here

I was in China last year and was suprised at how expensive things are !

Thought it would be bargin land but in the city's luxury goods are not that much cheaper than here.

Very true. I forgot to take my digital camera with me so i priced a few up while i was out there. All the ones i looked out turned out to be roughly the same price as in the uk, and that was with my chinese buddy bartering for me. It was the same with mobile phones

thanks for the post guys... im looking for an avc-r apexi but if it looks cheap im not gonna risk it ... and it sounds like the prices are similiar here.... might aswell get it from uk plus aint got the agro if it goes wrong...

You won't find anything in China but if you go Hong Kong, then thats a different story. You can buy almost any jap parts you can think of.
And the price, is 3/4-1/2 cheaper than UK
