Depends what kind of roll cage you want, if your going for a proper roll cage, go to someone like demon tweeks, or if you have a spare 1k, go to custom cages. But finance for at least 1k. Just put on in my road rally 106, cost me 900 in total for the cage and the feet welding.
Don't use any of those cosmetic cages, they will not save anything if you roll it and are a waste of money IMO.

You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a jap type cage from Cusco / Safety 21 etc. Although they're nor MSA approved, they're a lot cheaper- and easier to fit- than the safety devices / custom cages offerings. Depends what you want it for really. Most weld-in 'proper' cages pass through the dashboard, so be prepared to cut it if thats what you want.
Bear in mind that cages are not ideally suited to road cars. Although you can still get in and out (a lot of the jap spec cages loop over the rear doors so you can use the back too), seats in a road car tend to line your head up perfectly with the cage. Many people think that it will be fine provided its padded but this is not the case... and if you don't believe me, wrap some roll cage padding round a length of scaffold tube and get a mate (or wife) to whack you round the head with it.
To sum up- cages are only really safe provided a) your head is nowhere near it, and b) if you're wearing a helmet.

Im not going to repeat what Ive argued in other threads here: suffice to say that if you find yourself in a situation on the road, where you would hope that a rollcage will protect you, it will be more likely to kill you.
A rollcage belongs with fixed low, side-mounted fixed back seats, properly installed six point harnesses and a helmet. Miss any of those out and youre taking your life in your hands.

Its only going to be used on the track so isnt an issue, but wasnt really thinking of going as far as a weld in one, but did really want a six point one.
Thanks for the help so far.

all cages will require some welding.
bolt in cages 'bolt' to welded in plates.
OMP do good fairly cheap cages.
Had a full on multipoint in my Time Attack Clio, was a very good bit of kit.

A lot of the jap cages bolt through the floor and have plates that fit on the other side- no welding required.
