My wrx was mapped by JGM. Gives approx 311/317. Thought I would have been left wanting. Are these evo's not really producing what they say?

What other mods do you have apart from the remap, i have a few on mine thats the kind of figures i want when i go for a remap,

so far ive got a full decat 3 inch stainless and a k & n,
im thinking i'll need,

fuel pump, injectors, turbo and sti or front mount cooler, then a remap

I only changed the turbo to an Andy F Hybrid. No need to bother with the intercooler below 350bhp. The reason JGM had to stop was the injectors were reaching capacity. I got all the exhaust decatted with a prodrive sportcat. It's enough because the next levl is gearbox, forged piston, big big brakes.

At Santa pod this year i went up against an Evo 6 to which the owner said was producing just shy of 400bhp, we had a chat whilst waiting to go out.

I ran a 13.2 to his 13.4..My STI RA was dyno'd@285bhp.

iv had both evos and subarus ,,and evos win hand down ,,my evo 6 was running 350 bhp and did 1/4 mile in 12.6

i love both cars for diffrent resons

iv now got a wr1 and i dont think that would of kept up or any where near my evo6

Beaten any Evo that has tried to run with me, including a so called 470bhp evo 9. Also mapped by JGM

It keeps up with fq 320. No problems. The turbo kicks in at 2,000 FULL at 3,000 all the way to 7,000. No Lag.

your evo was running 350 and only manged a 12.6

bob's car 340bhp uk car managed an 11.7 or 11.8

so there you are my friend you need to own properly modded subaru before judging. evos are great ,good around corners and good to look at thats it

They are 400 plus vat part exchange for what you have. But they kill air.

Just goes to show that scoobys are common as muck, one of the reasons I left for the dark side much rarer and better drive all round IMO.
