Default Model Breakdown

Hi all, as you can tell from my name I am currently driving a VW Polo GTi..

Now, I want to get an Impreza and been looking around the Internet, but there is so many..

I don't mind an import, and I'm looking from 1996 - 2000.

Which is the best model?

If someone doesn't mind writing a list of the model, starting from the top of the range to the bottom of the range, for the year I am looking for that will be greatly appreciated

Simon

If I knew what I know now after 4 years of Scooby owning and had to start again, I would choose a 1999/2000 STI (all STI's in classic shape are imports). Better brakes and more powerful from the start. The ECU can be mapped for future mods (earlier models can't without daughterboards, new ecu etc). Insurance will be your only down-fall. Big jump from a polo. Oh and running costs, and then you'll get the modding bug!! Go into it with your eyes open and expect everything to cost the earth, and you will soon be hooked. Good luck Most of the time you'll love owning one!!
