Subaru Dealer goes bust.
My local Subaru Dealer "Lucas of Mansfield" has gone bust after 90 years of selling cars in the area.
The slowing of sales of high tax, low economy cars over the last year plus the recent economic troubles have been too much for the firm to take and the administrators have been called in.
A shame for all that work there and for those of us who used the superb dealership.
Cheers

Someone mentioned it the other day. I was surprised when they were still there last year, if I'm honest. I wouldn't be surprised to see Subaru go the way of Lancia in the UK; there are a number of parallels, for those who remember (although Lancar were a far better firm than IM are).....

I was in there last year and the dealer who sold me my car said they were giving up selling Subarus because of Suabru demanding more money out of them meant it wasn't profitable. Big shame as they were top guys and did a great job of fixing mine up after I had an argument with a wall and lost.
