MY01 dyno result

New exhaust delivered to me yesterday- thanks to Jonathan from grasshopper pro-sport and Alex- and I decided to see the power figures of my car prior to any modification.
So those are the figures:
Engine power: 161.2Kw(219 PS) at 5838RPM (173.7 km/h)
Wheel power: 124.3kW (168.8PS)
Max Couple: 286.8 Nm at 3930
Max Speed: 6925 RPM- 206km/h
Air temperature and atmospheric pressure at the time of measurements were 20 degrees C and 1008 mbar respectively.
Next run will be end of the week after some mods are done to find the true power gains.
List of mods:
ScoobySport 3 inch downpipe
ScoobySport uppipe
Grasshopper link pipe
HKS Hiper cat-back
HKS SSBOV
BMC panel filter
Turbosmart MBC?

Hi Kostas - good to see ya! What gearing are you pulling? Seem to be high revs for the speeds you quote - or am I missing something here?

WREXY,
You are right it was the Ofart Autotuning in Athens using a VAMAG dyno. The person who runs the RR told me that power figures for unmodded WRX are between 216 and 225 PS, mine was somewhere in the middle! I expect aprox 250 PS in my next run with all the listed mods carried out, i will keep you inform. Soon you will see me in the Greek scooby owners forum.
Harry Boy,
I was pulling in 4th gear as it is the most suitable for precise dyno measurements, transmission ratio closer to 1:1.
Don't forget that the quoted max speed-206 km/h-at 6925 RPM is Not
based on the car's tachometer figure but it is supposed to be the "true"
max speed based on the RR.

Wrexy,
don't worry i won't disappear, i'll keep you update with my mods and dyno tests!!
Hope to meet you someday in a Subaru Impreza meeting in Athens, I am always available, for such events.
Alex, tommorow is the big day, i will try to fit everything to my car- fortunately i will be just looking and checking, my mechanic will suffer!
If anything goes wrong, you know, you will be the first to ask- I've done it twice in the past.
Thanks mate

WREXY,
Where can I get a English version or translater to view the site.
http://www.tfrc.gr/index.html
I love those Drift videos.
Looks like some of the vids were on public road and traffic.
Crazy!

Kostas,
We will have meetings. We had one around two months ago. 5 members. Now there are more members, so we should organise another one soon.
Dazz1,
There doesn't appear to be a translation of that bbs anywhere. As for finding a translator I'm looking for one too. I have trouble understanding a lot of it myself.
Cheers,
Wrexy.
