Just got into work and went to look at the bonnet because I though some bird had crapped on the drivers side air vent scoop thing I have. hmm it was not bird crap, what I was seeing was the fibreglass under the paint! I then noticed this rather large circular dent in the bonnet, I'm not happy, not at all happy. Not got the camera on me otherwise I'd post up a pic, but will do tomorrow.
I know for absolute certain that the car was fine when I parked it last night, so it's happened overnight or early this morning, suffice to say I am not impressed. The dent is in a position where it could be banged out, but then a respray will be needed as the metal is showing through, as for the air vent scoop, well, think I'll need a new one
Now I can't rule out an accident but trust me when I say that if I'd caused this on the way home last night then I would have noticed it, so looks like some little ****** has had his fun, well, if they come back I will have some fun with them.

Nightmare, was it someone running over the car? This happended to my girlfriends brother last year. Not trying to worry you but is the roof OK as well?
This kind of thing drives me nuts..

you have a point there. I looked under the bonnet and did notice that the paint around the base of the scoop had come off, so someone could have been trying to rip it off, like to know what they were trying to use to do it though.

forgive my typing, but all I seem to be able to say is c**t ******* ****** **** ******, etc...
Spoke to my brother and he said that a few pikey kids had be walking around the street, plus he did hear a loud noise at about 11pm last night, but when he looked out he saw nothing about. I'm going to be watching tonight and if they come back they'll find out how quick a scoob is, and what the underside of it looks like, or I'll give them a very close up view of the damage they did.

Try not to ' speak' to them near your house or car if you see them.
Catch them up the road or they will be back to ruin your motor.
They sound like do-as-you-likeys to me......

Blimey, glad I sold that STi6 rear spoiler now 
my car can fit safely in the garage at night.

I've got 2 minor dents on my car, one is right on the front of the bonnet at the curved bit down to the metal - looks as if a van has parked in front and the back door has hit into the curved part. The second one has appeared since last week, and is on the front passenger wheel arch, and looks like someone has fallen against the car and left zip like marks into the paintwork and a double dent at the fold of arcjh.
Needless to say nobody left a note to say.
You have to accept that these things happen, and for your own sanity give the benfit of the doubt and think it has been an accident and not malicious. (but if i ever catch the little buggers!!)

Markus - had a similar thing done to me a couple of months after I got it. I was surprised at the amount of emotion it stirred up actually - I know it is 'omnly a car' but I felt completely gutted so I can sympathise with you.

Another update.
On the advice of someone (won't mention names, you know who you are) I've phoned the Central Crime Reporting Unit and reported the incident, and got a crime number. doubt anything will come of it, but at least I've reported it.
would advise anyone in similar situation to do the same thing, never know, they might catch the buggers.

Markus, i'll come down, when we catch the buggers we can pull out their toenails!!! staple their ears to their *****!!! and remove their internal organs with a rusty nailfile!!!
