That's quite impressive. I had visions of me having to paint them every couple of months if I did them.

Thanks for the kind words!
I was able to give these a good clean and paint on my bench,as i was upgrading from the rubbish 2 pots.I took 2 hours to clean them properly,as they were a bit rusty, and 3 coats of paint,2 hours between coats. Left them 2 days before fitting.
I love these cheap mods that make all the difference, they all add up!

Nooo! Don't use the brake paint for the manifold,it won't look very good. I used some VHT Wrinkle paint on mine, gloss paint won't look right imo.
The wrinkle paint looks factory(see my profile),i got two tins, only used one,if your interested in the other, let me know!

I can't see it being a problem,as long as their clean. It would be better to remove the caliper, leaving the brake line connected, then remove the pads, pins etc. You wouldn't want to get paint on the pads, would look a bit naf. This would also let you give them a proper clean. The first coat will look rubbish,it took 3 to get this finish.

Yeah, the brake lines are flexible.Just dont pull them about too much,so as not to damage the lines. The do put up with some abuse mind!
The caliper is held on by two 17mm bolts.
