I thought the Traffic Sergent (in the Range Rover) was doing himself and the force no good by shouting and belittling the two car drivers to reverse and let the tow truck in, when it was the tow truck on the hard shoulder.
Then to apparently claim that the Fire Officer who want to close the motorway was being silly, only to get there and find that 2ton wire bundles could be rolling around, then agree OK the motorway can be closed, just seemed to me that he believed he "owned" the motorway.
With all the threads going around on SC about the current Police attitude in various situations, this officer's attitude didn't really help.

He couldn't remember because he was asleep (IMHO of course).

What sort of bloke has a scally number one shaved right up his head, and a gelled number 7 on top?
He was a total ****** with a bad attitude, and thought he was above everyone else!

That lorry crash was awfull that poor kid losing his mum and cousin my heart went out to him as for the lorry driver should be banned from driving or life imop .

people like you cause far more trouble than you perceive you are stopping, like the idiots at certain councils that ban the word christmas on the cards they send out and replace it with winterville etc, because it might offend the [insert religion / ethnicancy of choice] why would it offend them? and if it does - tough, they're the ones with the problem.
