Do all TD05 turbo's fit all classic's

No. The TD05 was fitted to many makes/models of car in different guises. Further to that, if you want ot fit a Subaru fitment turbo onto a later Classic youll need to have the inlet machined off as theyre front entry.

poo, there goes all the ones ive seen on ebay then as most are off a 95-96, but did find a vf28 of a 98 mmm

You can usually buy the front entry housings for around £50. Try AndyF

If I'm not mistaken steve, a VF28 is good for over 300bhp and a good alternative to a tD05. Simon will elaborate if I'm correct.

TD05 is a more robust and capable turbo.

mmmm now what to do, vf28 will do for what i have planned, think there good up to 380ish

but now your saying the td05 is a better turbo, and just need to get a front entry housings mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

An associate was running a td05-18g at 383bhp/390+torque on his STi 7. Think it was an 18g, maybe a 20g.

Thing is, a standard UK turbo's internals won't take 380bhp, unless your looking long term at rebuild plans
