It's a valid point, Phil.

"It is understood the driver was flung from the car and landed in a field."

Eeek! Assuming he was wearing his seatbelt, that's some crash!

Condolences to family and friends.

Poor blighter and condolences to his family.

Has anyone else noticed how many of these young(-ish!) deaths happen in the early hours of the morning, when there's presumably very little else about? Somehow I doubt they are all just falling asleep at the wheel.

Know the road well. It's one where people enjoy putting their foot down. I've done so myself. RIP.

I test drove an 08 STi along there.... I have no doubt that if he was going fast enough to lose it, it was plenty fast enough to shred a Subaru.

Condolences to friends and family from myself also.

It is a very fast road but also pretty dangerous with some of the bends on it will admit to putting my foot down a few times on there.

condolances to friends and family also and rip to the poor guy himself

This guy was a friend of a friend, He'd put a lot of money into the car by all accounts. He was a bar manager of a pub near the road of the crash, I guess He was on the way home after a shift. RIP
