Default TSL INSURANCE

Quick one fo you. Finally, someone has seen sense and is interested in my car!!!! Woo hoo, only been trying for 4 months to sell!!

Anyway, the only problem is regarding insurance - the car has the TSL 333, 18 " PFF7's,Prodrive springs etc.

He is struggling to find someone who can insure him. I said to try A plan and also Greenlight.

Any suggestions?

Second the above.

Try Gary @ Keith Michaels (can be a bugger to get hold of sometimes but keep trying .

Mines a 2004 UK STI running several sensible mods @ 340Bhp. I'm 29, Full NCD, no convictions etc etc cost me £595.

They know whats what and if it only has stage 1 mods then it doesn't affect the price much. If you go to stage 2, bigger injectors, Turbo etc then I was told this is when the price goes up a bit.

You could try Adrian Flux - whenever I've talked to them about modifications, the increased premium was fairly reasonable.

Hi Stephen

We had our TSL333 insured through A-plan..... wife was the main driver and at the time was 35, full NCB, all mod's declared i.e. TSL333 engine mods, re-map and group N exhaust.

12 months insurance was £640 fully comp with me as a named driver - 33 at the time and full NCB, no points on licence.

A-plan were more interested in external mods and the BHP generated as opposed to anything else.

Glad to hear things arer looking up for you Stephen - someone is going to get a beast of a motor!!!

Cheers

Paul
