Woman needing help!
Hi everyone 
Well I have a 04 impreza 2.0l gx sport, i no, crap but am only 19 like, couldnt afford insurance for anything bigger!
Well I have a question...
does anyone know why the 2004 gx has only 123 bhp... when the 2003 have 155 bhp?..?
Would changing the manifold help.. or screwing her up abit maybe?

without knowing the model to owell, id of thought alot of it was ECU related, to gain32 bhp, thats quite a big jump if both engines are non turbo and have the same cc engine.

Hi Mandz, welcome.
Bear in mind all these modifications would have to be declared on you insurance, and thus your premium would change. You might end up paying a more or a similar premium to that of the WRX. Still a standard GX should give you more than enough fun for now I had a GL before my Sti and it was plenty quick enough. I suspect that your extra 32 horses won't give you what you want. It may even give you a headache you didn't want.
IMHO, Drive the standard GX for a year, then get a WRX. What ever you decide, good luck.

IMHO it's better to save your cash towards a better car than throw it at something which will never really be as good as what you're trying to achieve. Like these numpties you see in Max Poor or Fukt Car who've spent £40k on a Corsa
gimme an Ariel Atom, Type 25, Cayman or whatever instead of a chav'd up shopping trolley that'll languish on eBay for the next three years until it's eventually written off.

By the time you had messed around with it, you would probably get the same increase in performance ( not bhp ) by taking out the spare wheel, tool kit, cleaning out the glove box and not carrying any fat people.

aw fanx lol ad needa start losin weight insteada doin anyfin 2 da car den lol!
aw al just save up for a toyota supra or a mustang subarus are a bit common lol jokes jokes!!
am just gona put wrx brakes on den bcos i go fruh brakes lik anyfin nd da wrx are alot cheaper arnt dey?
nd i duno wer i got da 155bhp out of, mite have dreamt it
maybe it was the 02 am finkin on.... lol! hey wel fax 4 all ur help!

i am a girl! just because you's are all old and don't understand text speak! so because am a girl... woman even, i cant know anything about cars... i needed the car aligned thats why i was going through brakes like anything because she *the car* was driving funny! writing full words takes so long stupid old men!

We all understand it - I personally was using it back in '95 (19 not 18) when I worked for a very young mobile company called Orange. On here we just choose to write in English though.
No offence intended, just advising on forum etiquette.
