i,m no expert

but the two people I have spoken to who have had the PPP (Althought the price was nearer £1500) have said it was worth EVERY penny

so much more drivable in the midrange rather than all out power

It all depends on whether the car is under warranty, and whether you are worried about it remaining warranted.
If you want to continue to have it warranted, then the PPP is the ONLY performance upgrade available to you.
If you're not bothered, there are probably better options available.

I have a mate with a hawkeye STi, with the prodrive pack on, I have a hawkeye STi, standard, but with a vortex afterburner rear box and centre pipe, and a green panel filter. TBH there is very little difference in the performance, certainly in my opinion, not £2000 worth. I am prob going to go to powerstation to have mine done, its less money, and better results, all warrantied aswell. If however the subaru warranty is an issue, then maybe prodrive is the way forward for you. Really depends what you want. All I would say is, make sure you drive a ppp'd car, before you commit. Worth adding, from what I have heard that the prodrive pack does make quite a difference to the way a WRX drives, more so than an STi.

Good luck

comes down to warranty, if you want to keep it then ppp, if your not bothered then specialist tuner

the cost doesn't warrant the power imho, not when you see what you get for the money.

yeah the exhaust is nice, quiet pootling about and nice when flooring it, just doesn't make the best of the burble imho, if you can get the parts yourself and fit them yourself/get a garage to(not main dealer) then there is a few mappers that'll come to you for travel expenses.

ebay sometimes has the back boxes and the sports cats, try putting an ad in 'wanted' on here for uprated fuel pump /sports cat/bbox. fuel pumps are cheap new tbh, decent filter and even ngk pfr7 spark plugs. not sure about the 2.5's but you might need a decat pipe for the second cat i think.

try the usual Scoobyclinic, powerstation, scoobyworld, revolution, tsl etc for parts.

hope this helps

Why are you shouting? Pls switch off CAPS LOCK.
You will get far better BHP/£ if toy get it done properly yourself providing the package is put together carefully and done by someone that knows what they are doing but you need to stick with products that are proven to produce good power.
