Sorry if this has been asked loads before but what waxy polish shiney stuff should I use which is easily available? I want to was the salt off tomorrow and have a good old polish, is there anything good in Halfords?

I personally use halfords own. It is cheap, works well and is easily available. Other than that I would go for Auto gleam or something of a similar name it is a pure white bottle with a colured square label. Is a little bit more pricey but they are a good company with a load of products.
Hope this helps!!

i use wax wizard. costs an arm and a leg but it lasts and gives a great finish so in value terms i've found it as good as any.IMHO
ps i was sceptical at first but once used converted.

Sorry, Little Miss WRX knows best, Autoglym is best. Been using it since 1986 when I had to travel 25 miles to a small garage in Barnsley to get it (it was very exclusive and rare back then)
Just shows how "old" I am
