Default Wiper Blades

Can anyone reccommend a good make of wiper blade for the Impreza WRX.

I recently fitted a Champion blade to the driver side and it is driving me mad with the noise it makes every time it sweeps the screen.

Personally I'd invest in some PIAA silocone ones, they are dear but they best IMHO

I've bought cheap and regretted it

Subaru Aero Blade for me. I think Bosch make it for them.

Fitted these to my WRX and now my STi. Very good I feel.

cheap fleabay flat blades !!!!

I'm on my second set first lasted 18K of ****ty british weather. They cost about £10 and if you don't like them then go spend 30 quid on a set of expensive ones!

No squeak whatsoever! In fact I only replaced mine ..... because at £10 I thought why not!

(last set came from here ... with wear indicator. Not sure the use of that mind!

Agreed - fitted these a few weeks ago and I'm very impressed. £10 each so not expensive.

Lightbulb I'm surprised.

Champion Aerovantage are my favourite blades for price/performance.

Have you got the ones with built in spoilers? that makes quite a difference.

Under no circumstances buy Valeo.

Another vote for PIAA silicon - excellent, and they actually do make the water bead as they claim.

I have the Champion blade with the aerofoil.

The aerofoil seems to be too efficient, and as speed builds it's pressing the blade so hard onto the screen it makes a craaaaak noise every time it gets to the mid point.

Driving me mad

Thanks for all the advice though

I have the subaru flat areo blade but they buzz when traveling at over 100

the noise stops when the blades are at the top of the screen so it has to be the blades

anyone else had the same with flat blades?

time to change
