Default Soldering experts wanted Milton Keynes

Hi all,

I have just purchased a chip to re-map my 94 WRX wagon. Is there anyone on here skilled in the art of soldering around MK that wouldn't mind sparing me some time (paid for of course) to solder the beastie on for me? I have one of the ecu's that has the space but no socket present.

Why did they have to fill the holes with solder!!?! I could have done it if that wasnt the case!!!

I don't want to try myself as I know that I will make a meal of it!

Otherwise, does anyone know anywhere that will do the work near me?

Many thanks,

Simon

FYI when the PCB is built it is placed through a solder bath, so any unused holes get filled.

Doesn't help you but you did ask!

A mate of mine has recently done this himself on his WRX wagon.

'Wagoneer' is his user name. Give him a pm to discuss.
