MAF problem need help

my car was holding back at 4500rpm and was told i need new MAF air flow metre so i put a new MAF and it still the same problem any idea what it can be?????????????

From: Swansea.In search of more power!!

Could be a split in one of the pipes on the turbo,either the intake pipe or the intercooler pipe.
