info on and search for A BUGEYE
looking to get one of the first bugeyes and it needs to be an early one as dont want gordon brown WMO( will let you work that out for urself) with £400 road tax!
1.whats sort of price am i gonna look to be paying for one in decent nick and average miles on it??
2. is it worth getting the sti model?
3. do they make sti models as far back as the early bugs or did u have to wait a bit??
sorry for so many questions but due to start a new job and will have a comapany astra so thinking of swapping mrs 54 plate fiesta in and my v plate classic any help would be good
if anyone knows of one or has one for sale then PM me
by the way as unmodified as possible please so no 400bhp monsters!!

£4.5 k will get you a bugeye WRX on an x-plate if you haggle .. early versions have the aerial in the drivers A pillar !
You can just avoid the road tax hike LOL
why not stick with your classic ??

just fancied a change from the classic
1. my brother has one now and i hate it when he copies me
2. missus hates the fact tah the classic doent have 3x3 point seatbelts in the back for the 3 kids

i got mine a year ago for £6995 for a 2001 wrx X plate with 40k on the clock, but i dont think you'll be looking at that price now.. prob £5k-£6k maybe a little more for the STi.
if you can stretch to the STi then ide go for it..i wish i had done at the time but never mind

Agreed, definitely the STi unless you want a Wagon like me. Better engine, brakes, looks, handling. Plus Bugs are a bit heavier than classics so a WRX may feel slow in comparison.
Take your time, it's a buyers market.
