Only 300 made by STI, based on the WRX STi Electra one shown at the 1999 Tokyo motor show.
It was based on the STi RA version VI but had and output of 300PS @6.5k due to an STi sport ECU and bigger intake.
Highest power to weight ratio of any standard Impreza at 235PS per Tonne.
Barry's my ****, looks maybe not its strongest feature but worth more than that given its breeding. Very rare car all the same.
This car is the only uk registered S201 and yours for offers over 15K.

were there just 300 made world wide?? someone said that the only other one to come into the UK was written off
17000 is a lot but 299bhp standard fro ma classic, and no one else will have that bodykit, that rear wing is something else!! reckon the missus would kill me if i bought that, but the kids would love it!! they are always asking when we are getting stuff for our car like they see in fast car and banzai!

I know the guy who owns that import company, Ive looked and sat it that S201 and it is a very clean car(ugly though), even he knows that its a horrible car to look at, but because of how rare it is, thats the reason he imported it and selling it!!!

Its not pretty, but it is a rare thing indeed.
S202 was based on the STi spec C and produced 320ps @6400 Extra weight of the new age more than offset the increase in PS, Making the S201 the highest bhp/t.
That said, the S201 is still a car only its designer could love.
