Default MRSIMPSON's sti has left the building

I traded my Scooby in yesterday for a 2005 M3, couldn't live with the unwanted attention it got, and the Scooby rage it induced from other road users.

Have to say so far I couldn't be happier with the M3, great build quality and insane instant acceleration, I'll try and get some pictures sorted if anyone is interested.

I'll miss the Scooby waves though

Just get yourself a bluetooth headset and your good to go mate.

I can see the appeal in the M3, they are good motors but after having a chunk of extra power on my STi I couldn't live with the M3 being standard, the new one is a different kettle of fish mind, its a monster.

... I do miss the burble too ...

My new goal is to get a wrx ra for a couple of grand and turn it into a track toy, best of both worlds the other half said "whatever makes you happy!"

She must be having an affair!

I heard a great comment recently, "The ********* are all buying RS4's now", leaves the M3 for car nuts to enjoy.

LOL

It was on Top Gear. I believe Clarkson and Hammond refered to the drivers as c*cks. Nothing wrong with the cars.

Cheerio guys, hopefully I'll be back with a classic soon enough, and thanks to everyone who helped out with advice on the Scooby while I had it.

Well I haven't left yet

Just wanted to say if anyone is looking for an incredibly cheap Sti Hawkeye, my old one is going for £10,999 at the place I traded it in!!

The UK's No.1 Car Supermarket - Trade Sales!

It's a 2006 model with over 8k spent on upgrades over the 12months I had it, ecu, blitz nur spec rx, godspeed & goodridge, apline system and Tein Monoflex suspension (1 month old)...

Would make someone very very happy!

I doubt it, I got the M3 for a great price so they came down hard on the PX...They're making no money on the Subaru basically (well a little), plus their main business is fords and family cars so all the extra money spent on it means nothing to them.

I thought it worth promoting for someone on here to pick up a bargain.

Well if he needs to know anything about it you can ask me also. I've also got all the receipts for the work still so if he buys it get in touch and he can have them as it's all under warranty still.

Fingers crossed for him.

It's got a £3000 alpine installation by these guys in it too!

Auto Audio - London's Premier Installer

Check out the gallery to see the quality of their work.

I bet the garage has ragged it and broke it hence the price

Seriously though, that has to be the cheapest I have seen, ever!
