Default Insurance Problem.

I've just had my insurance renewal through. It's more than I paid last year. So i've shopped around and can't get anything cheaper.

I am 23 with 5 years no-claims. I've got a my99 uk turbo kept in a locked garage.

The renewal price is £1150 which is just over £150 more than I paid last year.

The cheapest with tesco compare is £1440. Tried moneysupermarket and confused too.

Can somebody please point me in the direction of a good Insurance company.

Any help would be brilliant.

Those comparison websites are a complete waste of time unless you are driving a unmodified mass market car like a Vauxhall Corsa.

Speak to Gary Moulson as metioned before, or A-Plan.

I got a better deal with Adrian Flux (0844 8888 708) than any of the others mentioned so far.............although I still don't get why, as a female aged something horrible, 9yrs NCB, no points for 7 yrs, I really struggled to get a quote less than £700

Thanks for all your replies! I'm currently insured with eCar. I sent a message to Gary Moulson yesterday and am waiting on a reply/contact details.

Thanks again.

Try getting quotes from Privilege and Direct Line, neither of these are on the comparison sites and can sometime work out a lot cheaper (40% cheaper for me in the case of Privilege).
