Never ever seen them on a scoob? Think they are just a gimick really or we would be seeing the likes of the time attack guys using them. If you like the way they look i cant see any harm.

£150 hmmm std equ brembo replacements are only £80

Any pics mate. Seem a reasonable price. I need to change mine as my last MoT picked my discs up as needing a change.

If you think about it they are the same diameter as standard discs (otherwise they wouldn't clear the callipers), this means that the 'cut away' areas actually reduce the overall surface area of the disc. This does not seem like the way forward !

Slotted and drilled disc's look good but you are ruining your braking performance and the cooling capabilities. As said above save your money and get normal vented disc's that don't look as good but stop you quicker!

dunno about them being less effiecient, the pads are still the same size and use the bottom part of the disc more than normal discs, check out normal disc wear, the pad doesnt use the closer part of the disc near the hub does it ?

these seem similiar to wavey discs on bikes, which work.

have to see if someone is usin them on their scoob.....

cheers

You will go through more brake pads and have less stopping power for more money, because of the look of the disc! This is the truth. The only reason that porsche, mercedes and all the rest off them do this is for look full stop!

It's the outer edge I'm talking about. To achieve the 'saw tooth' effect and still be able to pass through the original calipers, the widest point of the Rotordisc can only be the same diameter as a standard disc. By deduction the narrowest point (the saw tooth cutout) is smaller diameter than standard, therefore the disc area in contact with the pad is smaller. A standard size (ie uniform diameter) disc must be better. If you fit an uprated disc with spiral vanes between the two halves this would achieve the same 'claimed' cooling effect as the Rotordiscs.

Don't bother with 'gimmicked' discs.

We have some drilled/grooved discs and ceramic/kevlar pads all for just £145
