Default MY08 WRC HOW BAD IS IT

Just come of the WRC web site to find yet again the cars are so far off the pace, is the global credit crunch hitting Subaru/Prodrive, could this be the final nail in the coffin for the pairing, 3+ years and very little to show for it.

What are your thoughts..

WRC has been crap ever since WRC rules came into play. Bring back Group A and Group B
I never watch WRC any more as it's just so boring, but i love watching British and Irish Rally which has a massive mix of cars from early Escorts through to WRC

Well sales are everything and a big expence producing a new model.

in UK
1) Road TAX up
2) Fuel UP globally
3) Just put price up £1,500 due to exchange rate

Subaru salesmen must be looking for a Tall tree and a short rope

Maybe due to

1) MY08 WRC car hadn't performed
2) high cost of R&D and low sales may have been a factor

Prodrive admitted they brought out the 09WRC much earlier than they wanted. R&D on the job.

I blame the drivers to I think Solberg should have long lost his seat as he doesnt seam to have the will/ability to compete let alone win.Atkinson I like, shows Solberg up at times I reckon give him a few years and he'll do the job.
Replace Solberg with the likes of Kris Meeke, someone who wants the dream so bad.Plus he was a crtain Mr Mcrae's apprentice.
Solberg to found of the fake tan for me and Phil Mills how mind numbingly boring can you get?

Didn't a certain Mr. Hirvonen wreck a few a couple of years back ?

Maybe he could have made a difference, but Chris did rather well yesterday IMHO

DunxC

P.S. I like the grown-up graphics on the new car, (what no sponsors ?)
