anyone see me blazing about with my bright yellow spacesaver on today??
wa on my way from fal to truro heard a bumping noise, thought wheel bearing had gone, started getting louder then when i got to truro noticed tyre was almost flat, abandoned it and went to my interview, came back and saw it was totally flat, at which point it started to empty it down from the heavens and i had to change the wheel to get back to work!!! got the wheel off to find a 4 inch bolt/screw in it!!!! was well pissed off!! will be £65 for a new rubber tomorrow, only avons so not to expensive.
anyone know the cheapest tyre place in or around falmouth/truro or redruth??

I got 2 tyres quite cheap a few years back in Camborne (I know!!). Go into the main town centre, instead of going up the one way, take the first turning off the roundabout down towards where the old petrol station was, its on your left about 150 yards from the roundabout. Sorry about the vague directions,its been a couple of years since I moved.

I was down in Truro today.... 4.5 hours it tok me to get there.... must say it the most west(est) and southern part of england I've been to now.....

had to run it flat to get it to truro
when i got the offending item out it was a 4 inch screw,bolt (pointed end) whic was over 1/4 of an inch thick
got a bargain budget fitted for £40 at powells in pool,
had that fitted as missus said she would buy me some new rims for our wedding anniversary at the end of the month!! RESULT!!!!
