I'll make it cheap and easy for you - a turbo timer on an Impreza is a complete waste of money

If it comes as a standard feature on an alarm system then yes its good, if it doesnt then just follow the instructions on the drivers door about running the turbo down after "hard" driving

Of course, if you dont take any notice of the good advice from the above posters, I have a turbo timer with harness and instructions that you can buy off me, if you really want to cool your turbo down respectably!

Just dont turn it straight off if turbo is cherry red, other than that you will be fine.
Complete waste of money.
