Default Standing Start Bog Down

I have a TSL tuned 330bhp STi and am increasingly frustrated when it bogs down from a standing start. Unless I rev it to over 4k and slip the clutch it is SLOW!!
Anyone with any thoughts on the matter?

Get Nos, and make it so it only kicks in between 1.5k and 4k rpm?

You need to practice your starts, you have to add more gas to get it off the line, your basically not giving it enough when starting.
Your other option is to go higher (5k for instance) and try it there, bogging down is basically down to technique (or lack of) and its happened to us all

You probably have a lightened flywheel if your car is tuned by tsl, if so that would explain the bogging down, you need to use more revs on takeoff when you have a lightened flywheel.

Yes. Give it some revs when you launch.

4K and slipping the clutch will just help burn the clutch out quicker.

Rev it to abit over where your max torque is, keep blipping the throttle and then let the clutch up quickly at the same time as you floor it. That should work.

If you can multi-task....

Try holding the handbrake on (with the button held in !) and then do a launch, and as it bites release the handbrake.... mine used to spin the front wheels hit the boost and then launch like a scalded cat.

P.S. No cats where hurt in the making of this post !
