Default Got The Classic WRX bug again!!!

Hi guys and girls, its been since last september since i last logged onto this forum due to my 1995 scooby wrx being taken away from me by the baliffs!!!!! ,basically i brought a car on HP and it wasnt even my HP,turns out that a guy took a loan out on it and then sold it and pocketed the cash, went to the police and said it was my fault because i didnt HPI it,and yeah it was but it was a hard way to see goodbye to nearly 5 grand(purchase and service and repair)

Ive had to get rid of my pics of it because it broke me as ive never loved a car so much, well after 12 months of grieiving for it ive decided to start hunting for another one, only going to spend about 2500 on one(i know its not alot)but at least i can get the scooby burble back.......will keep my eyes peeled on here for one.

Welcome back 2500-3000 seems to be the going price for classics at the min on ebay, the other day i saw a red 1993 wrx type ra with a starting bid of 1500 and the auction finished with no bids it looked tidy enough too

What type classic are you after? id recommend a ra for the quicker accelaration

£2500 will see you get a lot of car at the minute!

theres a 99 T plate wagon on pistonheads with fsh and lowish miles for £2195!! i couldnt believe it when I saw it. its very clean too.

shop around, its really a buyers market at the minute. gutted about your last one, id make sure i kept the sellers details, then pay him a visit in a few years time

Thanx guys, thats what i call a warm welcome, yeah ive kept the details of the guy who had the outstanding finance on the car but he has done a runner to god knows where, would love to try and take it to court but the cost of the fees could see me with anoter scooby!! and i was even told i could end up paying his legal fees if it got thrown out of court, the law is def an *** as we all know it!!

i paid 2700 pounds for my scooby back in april 2007 and spent a fortune on it,so somebody out there has a very well looked after scooby that went to the auction to recover the costs of this **** who owed the finance company money, been browsing piston heads, ebay, and on here(started today lol)

Trouble is im going to need one that has had a new clutch, both rocker gaskets changed, and all new belts as we all know a service can be pricety from an independant subaru specialist,do we have a local scooby nut on here that does cash jobs and is recommended wink wink.
