Oh I'm a bit happier, some said 320ps for the standard upgrade but maybe looks like 330ps That'll do it for me, super.

"
Power goes up to 330 PS at only 5,400 rpm compared to the 300.5 PS at 6,000 rpm of the standard model.

Torque is boosted from 300.2 lb ft at 4,000 rpm to 346.6 lb ft at a lower 3,400 rpm making for an even swifter, effortless driving experience.

Top speed is the same 155.3 mph but the 0-60 mph time drops from an already swift 4.8 seconds to only 4.4 seconds."

Me happy... although jury out for me with the exhaust pics on the PH site, if they are the same as the PPP system, two big oval exits. mmm not sure.

About time but the 330 will be a £30k car... that's a lot of money for a hatchback. Too much money.

They are finally doing something worthwhile with their model lineup, and it was about time!

A lot of competition out there!

Euro Top Spec or Sports Pack did have over the UK standard spec, not much realy

18" wheels
Recaro leather seats
folding and Heated wing mirrors
Start button & keyless entry
Rear Privacy glass

Probably more than it'd cost you to get them directly from Recaro themselves.

Yeah - true!

You could have them covered by the crowd that advertise in the Subaru magazine magazine too.

I quite fancy those Recaros that are in the Clio 197 R27 and will be in the new Focus RS.

Yeah I know what you mean The best seats I've had were the Recaros in my GT-Four. Snug and held me in much better than the rubbish ones I have in my STI. I'd swap mine in seconds for some mint seats from a blobeye.

I had a R27 with those Recaro Sportster CS's I think they were, lovely seat indeed. Just needed a better quaility fabric in the Renault but look ok in the Ford.

Looking forward to a PPP prive for us existing owners, I'll guess at 1700 quid

£30k for 330BHP, are they having a laugh. Don't waste your money, just call Mr Forrest.

Still looks cr@p, I think they should spend some money on the design not the performance

I had an R27 too - have we had this conversation before?

Seats are awesome!

I'm not sure whether to go down the PPP or Litchfield / Powerstation route. The later is clearly the most powerful, but I think the PPP would help the resale value especially as I tend to trade cars in rather than sell them privately.

No mention of suspension tweaks though - shame.

Think we have and I am the same as you, tend to go the easy route of trade in so PPP will probs be better. Some suspension mods would be welcomed also

I didn't read it that way - it simply doesn't say either way if they are offering PPP as a retro fit or not.

There will be an uproar if they don't - led by me!

Cheers

Be interesting to see the 380bhp one back on Top Gear against the FQ360.

However, for me it will be like the Lichfield variants - absolutely cracking car but far too expensive for an Impreza.

The 330bhp one will be the equivalent to the old PPP cars. Doesn't sound like they are retro fitting mind and doing limited numbers. Strange.

Unless you have £40-£50k to spank on an Impreza, then just go and see Andy F as opposed to getting the PPP. If you do have £40-£50k to spank on an Impreza you need help IMHO.

Prodrive told me they would retro fit the then to be developed PPP for the 08's as in previous years, I would not have got the car otherwise.

Remember the 330s is more than just an STi with PPP though, so it could still be limited edition.

I can't see them not offering PPP as a retro-fit, well I hope not!

Really liking those massive oval pipes!
