Hi all just had my MOT for my my93. it passed but had 1 advisory that the exhaust system seems to be blowing. They think its blowing on the pipe/seal that goes down to the turbo, but in order just to find out they need 3 hours labour. The problem is they have you over a barrel on parts once everything is off, so does anyone here know cost of such a pipe/seal worst case, or while they are doing the work would it be better to fit one of the performance downpipes I see on ebay etc?
