Andy Forrest Performance, your thoughts?
As the title states, what are your thoughts/experiences with Andy Forrest?
Sounds like a down to earth bloke that knows his business.

Only ever asked him for technical advice, but I don't think you'll find a more respected bloke on here, just a few equals.
You're in VERY safe hands!

Had both my cars mapped by Andy very happy with the results both times and he took time to explain the stuff that i didnt understand. I think his results speak for them self.

He mapped my car and provided advice on supporting mods before I went to see him. He's a good bloke that knows his Imprezas inside out. My car is twice the car it was before he mapped it.

Top bloke, only works on Scooby's and knows them inside out.
Remapped mine back in March and it was fantastic, talked me through everything in laymans!!
Went back later with a fault (nothing to do with Andy) and he sorted it in 2 minutes and didn't charge a penny
Can't get better than that!!

I've had my classic mapped twice by Andy and purchased my TD04H from him also.
Very impressed with the results both times and he also sorted a couple of little glitches that arose when we were mapping it.
He has always been really informative and helpful and a really nice guy too
TBH I can't ever remember seeing any negative feedback about him or his work
cheers
Matt

One of the best mappers in the business and knows every model of the impreza inside out. I've had my previous setup mapped by Andy and about to have a SimTek mapped next Tuesday, Can't wait.

I would say keep your emails short and sweet and if you don't hear back just try again.
To get the best out of a mapping session make sure you have all the right mods so that it makes the event worthwhile and the mapper has the best conditions to work with. I developed a misfire on the 2nd map but luckily it cleared and didn't affect the session.
My map was on the ESL and his work is impressive. Andy also noticed I had the boost control vacuum pipes the wrong way round....Wastegate was permanently shut

I've been to Andy's for about 5 remaps now.
He is a very friendly, honest and knowledgable guy. I would thoroughly recommend his services to anyone.
He gave advice on possible modification routes, what parts did what, how all the mapping works, everything. Never belittled you if you asked a very stupid question about something.
He also explained the whole mapping process, answered emails, the lot.
I have not had any reason to go back for something wrong and although i've not had any experience with other mappers, i wouldn't either, whilst Andy is just down the road.
(Bloody windy over there though )

My MY06(Hawkeye) STi was mapped by Andy with supporting mods by the guy that had the car before me, about 4 weeks before i got it,
The CEL light came on sometimes when in high boost.
Gave Andy a phone and he sorted it all out for me free of charge and explained why it had ghappened etc, top bloke and i would not hesitate to recommend him.
His gagage is right on the harbour at Seton, very windy sometimes, but a nice hot scotch pie from the bakers and its sorted.

I had my car remapped back in December, all I can say is I totally agree with all above posts. Top guy, knows his stuff inside out.
He is a very busy man, always in demand. So it does take him some time to respond to his emails, Ive always had my emails answered anyway give or take 2 or 3 days

Had my car mapped by him.
Went up last month with a problem, diagnosed it as a MAF problem and let me use his MAF till I got my replacement.
My mate's taking his UK300 up in the next few weeks to get his mapped.
218bhp as standard upto 285bhp with only a filter and exhaust added...not too bad.

Very, very happy with the re-mapping he carried out on my car, Andy offered great advice on mods prior to going to him for the re-map and saved me money by good advice on what was and what was not necessary.
Andy mapped my car the week after the first service at 1000 miles, now on 14000 and still smiling like a boy with a new toy.
377Bhp and 380 lb ft-----you could say I'm Happy
