Default 22b Euro Norm 2 ?

Just a quick question really, im looking into importing a 22b either from Japan or the UK, into Germany. The German law states that all cars registered after 1996 need to for fill the Euro norm 2 on the emissions test. Since the 22b was never released in Germany, Subaru Deutschland will not provide me with a COC form or any emission test results. The German TÜV (MOT) want around 6000€ for these tests , does anyone know if the UK version for fills the euro norm 2, and is this noted anywhere in the vehicle docs

I believe its now impossible to import 22b's from japan, you will have to speak to a trader to confirm this though, your only other option is to buy a car that has already been imported, though you will pay a premium for it.

Steve, yes thats correct mate, its registered in Recklinghausen which is about 30mins from me and my dealer knows the owner quite well. Unfortunatly the owner wont give out any info´s at all out how he got the 22b TÜVed and registered here, all i know is it cost a total of 40000€ to get that car here and registered.

My GT is still for sale, so im still unsure what exactly too get, a 22b or either a P1, time will tell, i just looking at various situations at the minute.

Hows your car doing Steve anyway??

Lee, well it is back on the road and I am using it but it badly needs remapping.
Bob put a base P1 map on it that he tweaked so it works but now i need him to come back out and do it properly, only then will I be able to let you know how it is, so watch this space.

I currently can't fit the rear Brembos and hubs as there is an ABS ring missing off one of them so my dealer can not build it and fit them to my car. I need to try and get one from somewhere.
