Im off to look at one at the weekend
what do they go like? Power? it has a blitz NUR exhaust on it already, what do i need to do to make to 350bhp?
Do these have the red top engine?

No red top and should be number 1 of a 100 or 1 of 200 if its a genuine version 1 STi. Will have alloy intercooler, sti strut brace, sti seats. Most early cars iv seen for sale as sti`s are standard wrx`s. So beware.

its got sti seats, he tells me its number 68, hpi check has it as a wrx sti too!
has strut brace and looks like an alloy intercooler.

They were rated at 250PS, not 280PS. The production of STI Type-RAs in 1995 were rated at 275PS.

ps: howellsy, I dont mean to **** on your chips, but there werent any 1995 STIs. There were 300 Saloons and 300 'Wagons manufactured from standard production vehicles in 1994 and in 1995 Subaru only offered the retro-converted 275PS STI Type-RAs. They were all white with a roof vent and DCCD. It could be a late registration, but as far as I know both productions of 100 and the following 200 were both sold out immediately, so theyd be 'L'-registered here. If it is an STI then itll have a build plate, possibly mentioning the Acropolis Rally, on the NS inner wing.

never noticed that before mine was built april 94 but regerstered on a m plate you learn a new thing every day !!
