Noise Check before Track Days
#1
Does anyone know where I can get my car checked for noise levels, before getting to a track and turned away. I've an MY00 with SS system, am in Yorkshsire, but will travel if necessary.

Try phoning the Env Health Dept of your local council and begging one of the officers to do it for you. They might look upon your request kindly, esp if you offer to take them for a spin in it. You could also try local acoustic consultants - see yellow pages. There's a guy at the the Univ of Derby who's a motor racing nut. His name's Mike Fillery Tel 01332 622221.He might help - but don't say I sent you. He's my MSc lecturer!
If all else fails, give me an e-mail and we'll sort something out.

I know this doesn't answer your question directly, but it's HIGHLY unlikely that your car will be too loud.
There's loud, and there's FAPPING LOUD.
Even with a de-catted scoobysported exhaust system, my Scoob rumbles alright. However it purrs like a ***** cat compared to the howl of my Exige (which also is within sound limits)
