Depends on how powerful your pressure washer is.
I've used the 900w little suitcase jobbers to run a drill. But it wouldn't run a compressor.
We've now got a 2.3kw jobber that'll run a compressor or a kettle. But it won't run my mig welder.
I borrow a mates 4kw badboy for that.
Look on the little plate on your pressure washer or in the handbook. That'll tell you the rated power of the motor or it's rated consumption. Thats what you'll need to know.

You can get 2.3kw jobbers (same as mine) from Makro for about £200.
Thats where I got mine and it's had a bit of industrial use and it still starts 3rd pull everytime.
But it weighs about 30kgs. Maybe a touch more.
